Dr. Blaze

Personality (beta)

Dr. Blaze is more of a serious type than some of his fellow pups (mainly thinking of Tari here), and is said to be quite intelligent. On his Fanon Wiki page, I called him a "less extreme version of Logan", but he does still like to play games sometimes, mostly calmer ones that don't involve too much excitement or screeching or shouting. Interestingly, I listed "The Floor Is Lava" as one of the games he enjoys, but I suppose it's nowhere near as rambunctious as something like "Bulldog" or "What's The Time Mister Wolf", so I'll let that slide.

Biography (beta)

The following was written on the 19th of September 2019 on Blaze's PAW Patrol Fanon Wiki page.

Blaze was the son of two sheepdogs who worked for the guy who accidentally shot Lantern and her family, thinking they were rabbits or something. On the day the guy brought back Cotton, he treated her with care and patched her up. Blaze and his brother Diameter watched on, and Diameter fell for her. That night, their cousin Cooper came to stay for a couple of days, but in the night, both Blaze and Cooper were taken by the Bluebell Pirates. The next morning, the two Retrievers found themselves surrounded by pirates. Then they found out that their father Firm had been a previous member of the crew, but had escaped once, and they wanted revenge by making both of them part of the crew of outlaws, but Blaze was brave enough to slip under the pirates and throw himself off the plank. Cooper tried to follow, but was caught and was made one of them. When he had thrown himself off the boat, he was next to a pole which used to hold a flag. So, without noticing, he jumped onto the pole. Then he realized how high up he was, and he started howling for help. Luckily, Opaque, Nia, Tari, Puria, Meteor and Lantern were there at the time and rescued him.

Personal Blurb

I think I'll probably ending up changing Blaze's particular breed at some point, unless if I can find a decent way to make him look different enough from Tari. Sure, there have always been colour differences, with Tari being more of a yellow colour compared to Blaze's pale dull-ish brown, but other than that and their eye colours, the only real way to distinguish them is through their ear shapes. I am happy that Blaze featured in some stories, whether as a medic doing his job or as the sole known relative of Cooper in Pups Meddle with Pirates (WHICH I STILL HAVEN'T FOUND... WHERE IS THAT DAMN NOTEBOOK??), and it's unfortunate the same can't be said for some other pups.
